About 300 international data protection experts from businesses, society, supervisory authorities and politics followed exciting keynote speeches and interesting panel discussions at the 5th Bitkom Privacy Conference in Berlin on 17 September 2019. One of the undisputed highlights was certainly the Legal Live Hack. In the interactive forum of the Legal Live Hack, previously submitted questions from businesses and industry were answered live on stage at #pco19 by experienced data protection experts.

One of the undisputed highlights was certainly the Legal Live Hack. In the interactive forum of the Legal Live Hack, previously submitted questions from businesses and industry were answered live on stage at #pco19 by experienced data protection experts.

 

Numerous top speakers enriched the Privacy Conference 2019

The line-up of international speakers from globally active companies, supervisory authorities as well as national and European politicians provided a varied programme with many highlights. After the press conference, the Federal Data Protection Commissioner Ulrich Kelber opened the Privacy Conference 2019 with his keynote speech on the current challenges in data protection. This was followed by a programme with a total of over ten hours of lectures and discussions, spread over four stages. The highlight speakers at #pco19 included, among others:
