Andreas Dewes

Dr. Andreas Dewes studied Physics and Quantitative Economics at the University of Tübingen and completed his PhD on Experimental Quantum Computing at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) in Saclay and the University of Paris VI. He worked as a data scientist for Blue Yonder as well as the German Cyber Security Organization (DCSO) and co-founded several technology startups.

His applied research focuses on secure and privacy-preserving methods for machine learning and data analysis. He is co-founder of KIProtect, where together with his team he builds novel, cryptography-based methods to protect and secure data while keeping it useful for machine learning and data science.
