Frank Ingenrieth is Manager Legal Affairs at SCOPE Europe, a subsidiary of Selbstregulierung Informationswirtschaft where he is Deputy Managing Director. SCOPE Europe is considered to be a European Monitoring Body for Codes of Conduct, just like the European Code of Conduct for Cloud Service Providers as well as an European Association calling for a regulatory framework and suitable regulatory methods to fostering innovation in the digital economy and the digital transformation.
He has in-depth knowledge within IT and Media Law with a strong focus on Data Protection Law. Frank passed his first State Exam with a strong focus on Information and Communication Law. For his Practical Legal Training (Rechtsreferendariat) finalized in Rhineland-Palatinate with the second State Exam he chose Media and Copyright Law as area of profession. He gained also a Master of Law Degree within Media and Copyright Law as well as he passed the theoretical part for being a Professional Lawyer in that area. Furthermore he is a certified Data Protection Officer. He has gained experience out of the perspective of global law firms like Taylor Wessing, Norton Rose or Noerr, international corporations, like Google, or even Data Protection Authorities.
