Cornerstone paper on employee data protection

In April, the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs published proposals for an amendment to employee data protection.

Bitkom, in cooperation with the working groups on data protection, personnel and labor law, and Work 4.0, has developed proposals for the creation of employee data protection and comments on the individual chapters of the key issues paper. The first part addresses those points that have not yet been adequately covered in the key issues paper but are essential for a future employee data protection law. The second part evaluates the individual aspects of the key issues paper.
