Anke Zimmer-Helfrich
Anke Zimmer-Helfrich is a lawyer and is head of the journals Recht der Neuen Medien at the publishing house C.H. BECK in Munich.
As Editor-in-Chief she is responsible for the conception and management of the magazines "MultiMedia und Recht (MMR)" and since 2011 the "Zeitschrift für Datenschutz (ZD)" including the news services MMR-Aktuell and ZD-Aktuell. In addition, she conceives further magazine, book, seminar and online projects.
Previously she worked as managing editor for the magazine "Computer und Recht (CR)" until 1996. Since 2002 she has held a teaching position for "Journalism and Law" at the Westfälische Wilhelms University Münster.
In addition to IT law, telecommunications law, copyright and media law as well as e-commerce, she has many years of expertise in data protection law.
